This role involves driving dealership revenue through strategic vehicle sales planning and high-performance team leadership. It focuses on maintaining strong OEM relationships while ensuring consistent market share growth and superior customer satisfaction within a competitive territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Sales Consultants and Team Leaders to achieve monthly and quarterly retail targets.
- Manage the end-to-end sales process, including lead generation, test drive management, and final vehicle delivery.
- Analyze Dealer Management System (DMS) data daily to track conversion ratios, enquiry pipelines, and inventory movement.
- Coordinate with OEM regional offices for stock allocation, monthly schemes, and local marketing support.
- Oversee the Finance & Insurance (F&I) desk to maximize penetration of value-added services and dealership profitability.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and product training sessions to enhance the sales force's competency.
- Ensure 100% compliance with brand standards, showroom hygiene, and corporate identity protocols.
- Resolve complex customer grievances and escalations to maintain high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores.
Requirements
- Proven track record in automotive sales management with a Tier-1 or Tier-2 dealership.
- Strong understanding of the Indian automotive market, competitor pricing, and regional consumer behavior.
- Proficiency in using Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and MS Office Suite.
- Valid four-wheeler driving license and willingness to travel locally for corporate tie-ups.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with a 6-day work week schedule.
- Exceptional negotiation and closing skills with a focus on P&L management.
Preferred
- Experience in high-volume passenger vehicle or luxury car segments.
- Existing network within local corporate hubs and fleet operators for bulk sales.
- Prior experience handling OEM audits and process compliance certifications.
- Fluency in English and the local regional language.

Qualifications
