This role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining complex electrical and electronic systems within modern vehicles. It involves ensuring all safety features, wiring harnesses, and computerized components function optimally to meet OEM standards and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose electrical malfunctions using high-end diagnostic tools like OBD scanners, multimeters, and oscilloscopes.
- Repair and replace faulty wiring, ignitions, starters, alternators, and electronic fuel injection systems.
- Perform comprehensive battery health checks and manage charging system maintenance for ICE and hybrid vehicles.
- Install and troubleshoot vehicle accessories including infotainment systems, reverse cameras, GPS trackers, and central locking systems.
- Interpret complex electrical circuit diagrams and technical manuals provided by the OEM to ensure precise repairs.
- Execute software updates and recalibrations for Electronic Control Units (ECUs) and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) where applicable.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering strictly to workshop safety protocols and electrical handling standards.
- Document all repairs, parts used, and labor hours accurately in the Dealer Management System (DMS).
Requirements
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience as an Electrician in an authorized automotive workshop.
- In-depth knowledge of automotive electrical circuits, relays, fuses, and sensors.
- Proficiency in using digital diagnostic equipment and specialized hand tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical wiring schematics and circuit maps.
- Strong manual dexterity and problem-solving skills for intricate electrical repairs.
- Valid two-wheeler or four-wheeler driving license.
Preferred
- Prior experience working with premium or luxury car brands.
- Certification in Electric Vehicle (EV) high-voltage safety and battery management.
- Familiarity with modern car telematics and connected car technology.

Work Environment
The role is based on-site in a high-traffic authorized workshop environment. It follows a standard 6-day work week (9:00 AM - 6:00 PM) with potential overtime during peak service seasons.
