This role focuses on driving vehicle sales by engaging with potential customers and guiding them through the entire purchase journey from inquiry to delivery. It involves building strong brand loyalty while ensuring that monthly volume and retail targets are consistently met through proactive lead management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage walk-in customers at the showroom and provide detailed product demonstrations and feature explanations.
- Conduct professional test drives while adhering to safety protocols and highlighting vehicle performance.
- Generate new leads through cold calling, field visits, and local marketing activities to build a robust sales pipeline.
- Handle the end-to-end sales documentation process including booking forms, RTO paperwork, and insurance coordination.
- Coordinate with the finance department to assist customers with loan applications and credit approvals.
- Maintain and update the Dealer Management System (DMS) or CRM daily with accurate lead status and follow-up notes.
- Ensure the vehicle delivery process is seamless and creates a memorable experience for the customer.
- Collect and report market intelligence regarding competitor pricing and promotional activities.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of experience in automotive sales or high-value retail sales.
- Valid permanent four-wheeler driving license is mandatory.
- Fluency in the local language and functional knowledge of English.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding monthly sales targets.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment with a 6-day work week.
Preferred
- Previous experience working with a reputed OEM dealership.
- Basic understanding of automobile mechanicals and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of local RTO regulations and motor insurance products.
- Experience using CRM software like Salesforce, MS Dynamics, or SAP.
