This role involves driving vehicle sales by engaging with potential customers through the entire purchase journey, from initial enquiry to final delivery. The primary focus is on providing expert product demonstrations, managing a robust sales pipeline, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction within a dynamic dealership environment.
Manage walk-in customers and digital leads to achieve monthly retail sales targets for the dealership.
Conduct professional test drives and demonstrate vehicle features, safety standards, and performance to prospective buyers.
Handle the end-to-end sales documentation process including booking, invoicing, and coordination with the RTO department.
Explain financing options, insurance policies, and extended warranty packages to customers to increase value-added service penetration.
Maintain and update customer interactions and lead status daily in the Dealer Management System (DMS).
Coordinate with the stockyard and PDI team to ensure timely and error-free vehicle delivery to customers.
Execute outdoor marketing activities, corporate displays, and local events to generate new leads and enhance brand visibility.
Follow up with existing customers for post-sales feedback and generate referrals to build a sustainable sales pipeline.
1 to 3 years of experience in automotive sales (Passenger Cars or Two-Wheelers preferred).
Possession of a valid four-wheeler driving license is mandatory for conducting test drives.
Proficiency in the local language and a working knowledge of English for documentation.
Strong understanding of the local automotive market and competitor product offerings.
Willingness to work on weekends and travel for outdoor marketing activities.
Comfortable working with digital tools and CRM software.
Experience working with authorized OEM dealerships (Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata Motors, etc.).
Prior training in soft skills or professional sales techniques.
Knowledge of automotive finance and insurance processes (IRDA certification is a plus).
