This role focuses on bridging the gap between initial customer interest and showroom visits by managing outbound and inbound communications within a high-volume dealership environment. The primary objective is to nurture leads, provide accurate vehicle information, and schedule test drives to significantly boost overall sales conversion rates.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct high-volume outbound calls to prospective leads generated through digital marketing, website inquiries, and database mining.
- Maintain and update customer records with high accuracy in the Dealer Management System (DMS) and CRM software.
- Brief potential customers about vehicle features, technical specifications, current promotional schemes, and exchange offers.
- Coordinate closely with the floor Sales Team to schedule test drives and showroom appointments for qualified prospects.
- Execute a systematic follow-up process for cold or dormant leads to re-engage them in the sales funnel.
- Generate daily and weekly reports on call connectivity, lead status, and appointment conversion performance.
- Handle inbound queries regarding vehicle availability, pricing, and finance options with professional telephone etiquette.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to provide feedback on lead quality and campaign effectiveness.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in telecalling, inside sales, or customer relationship management.
- Fluency in the local regional language and functional proficiency in English.
- Proven track record of meeting lead conversion and appointment setting targets.
- Hands-on experience with CRM software or automotive DMS platforms.
- Strong ability to handle customer objections and provide persuasive product solutions.
- Excellent active listening and verbal communication skills.
Preferred
- Previous experience working with an authorized OEM automobile dealership.
- Basic understanding of automotive insurance and financing products (IRDA knowledge is a plus).
- Experience in the BFSI or hospitality sectors in a sales-driven role.
