This role focuses on driving vehicle sales and delivering an exceptional showroom experience to prospective buyers. It involves managing the entire customer journey from initial inquiry and product demonstration to final vehicle delivery and post-sales follow-up.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed product demonstrations and facilitate test drives while explaining technical features and USPs.
- Manage the end-to-end sales process, including lead generation, booking, documentation, and vehicle delivery.
- Maintain and update the Dealer Management System (DMS) daily with accurate customer interaction logs.
- Cross-sell value-added services including automotive insurance, extended warranties, and genuine accessories.
- Coordinate with the finance department to assist customers with loan documentation and processing.
- Execute proactive follow-ups with hot and warm leads to maximize showroom conversion ratios.
- Participate in outdoor promotional activities, corporate displays, and local marketing events.
- Ensure the showroom floor and display vehicles meet the brand's premium presentation standards.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of proven experience in retail sales or the automotive industry.
- A valid permanent four-wheeler driving license is mandatory.
- Fluency in the local regional language and working knowledge of English.
- Ability to work a 6-day week, including weekends and public holidays.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) and mobile apps.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills with a customer-centric approach.
Preferred
- Previous experience working with an authorized OEM dealership (Maruti, Hyundai, Tata, etc.).
- Familiarity with CRM software or Dealer Management Systems (DMS).
- Knowledge of automotive finance and insurance processes.

Work Environment
On-site showroom role with standard 6-day work weeks. Requires standing for long periods and occasional outdoor travel for test drives and promotional events.
