This role involves performing high-quality repairs and routine maintenance on a variety of motorcycles and scooters to ensure optimal vehicle performance and rider safety. It focuses on delivering technical excellence while adhering to manufacturer standards and strict workshop timelines to maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform periodic maintenance services (PMS) and general repairs as per the manufacturer's service schedule and guidelines.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic tools, multimeters, and physical inspections.
- Conduct engine overhauling, clutch repairs, brake system servicing, and suspension tuning.
- Handle BS6 fuel injection system troubleshooting and sensor replacements using computerized scanning tools.
- Ensure accurate documentation of all repairs, parts used, and labor time on the job cards for DMS entry.
- Maintain a clean and organized bay, ensuring all tools and equipment are handled with care and stored correctly.
- Test ride vehicles post-repair to verify that reported issues are resolved and the vehicle meets safety standards.
- Assist the workshop manager in managing spare parts inventory and identifying fast-moving stock requirements.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in a professional 2-wheeler workshop or authorized service center.
- In-depth knowledge of internal combustion engines, transmissions, and braking systems.
- Ability to use pneumatic tools, torque wrenches, and electronic diagnostic scanners.
- Valid two-wheeler driving license for conducting post-repair test rides.
- Physical fitness and the ability to work in a fast-paced workshop environment for extended hours.
- Basic understanding of BS6 technology and electronic fuel injection (EFI) systems.
Preferred
- Experience working with major Indian OEMs such as Hero, Honda, TVS, Bajaj, or Yamaha.
- Prior exposure to Electric Vehicle (EV) powertrain maintenance and battery handling.
- Basic computer literacy for updating job statuses in the Dealer Management System (DMS).

Standard authorized workshop environment; 6 days a week; 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM shift with standard safety gear provided.
