This role focuses on driving revenue through the strategic distribution of genuine automotive components and accessories across the assigned territory. It involves managing inventory health, expanding the retailer network, and ensuring high fulfillment rates for both internal workshops and external B2B clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for genuine spare parts and accessories through the dealership and secondary network.
- Identify and onboard new retailers, independent garages, and fleet owners to expand market penetration.
- Monitor inventory levels using ABC analysis to ensure a healthy stock mix and minimize dead stock.
- Analyze Dealer Management System (DMS) reports to track parts demand trends and optimize procurement cycles.
- Conduct regular field visits and organize mechanic meets to build brand loyalty and product awareness.
- Manage the credit limits and ensure timely payment collections from all B2B accounts.
- Coordinate with the OEM parts department for order placement, back-order tracking, and warranty claims.
- Supervise the parts warehouse team to ensure efficient picking, packing, and dispatch processes.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in automotive spare parts sales or warehouse operations.
- In-depth knowledge of automotive components and technical specifications.
- Hands-on experience with Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and MS Excel for data analysis.
- Proven ability to manage B2B sales channels and distributor networks.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to handle high-pressure sales targets.
- Valid two-wheeler or four-wheeler license for field visits.
Preferred
- Previous experience with a major Indian OEM (e.g., Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, Mahindra).
- Existing network of local spare parts retailers and independent workshops.
- Familiarity with inventory management software like SAP or Oracle.
