This role involves performing high-quality vehicle maintenance and repairs at an authorized service center. The focus is on ensuring mechanical integrity and safety while adhering strictly to manufacturer-defined diagnostic and repair protocols.
Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, brake inspections, and fluid replacements as per OEM schedules.
Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues using computerized diagnostic tools and scanners.
Execute major repairs such as engine overhauling, gearbox maintenance, and suspension system overhauls.
Utilize specialized workshop equipment including pneumatic tools, hydraulic lifts, and wheel alignment machines.
Document all repair work performed and parts consumed in the Dealer Management System (DMS) for accurate billing.
Conduct final road tests to verify that all reported issues have been resolved and the vehicle meets safety standards.
Maintain a clean and organized bay, ensuring all tools are calibrated and safety protocols are followed.
Collaborate with Service Advisors to explain technical issues and provide cost-effective repair recommendations.
Minimum 2-5 years of hands-on experience in a passenger car workshop or authorized service center.
Proficient understanding of internal combustion engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
Ability to operate modern diagnostic scanners and interpret error codes.
Valid four-wheeler driving license is mandatory for vehicle testing.
Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with a 6-day work week.
Familiarity with safety standards and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Previous experience working with Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata Motors, or Mahindra authorized workshops.
Specialized training in Electrical Vehicle (EV) components or high-voltage systems.
Basic computer literacy for updating job cards in digital systems.

Standard authorized workshop setting with 6-day work weeks, on-site presence required, involving physical labor and exposure to automotive fluids and machinery.
