This role involves driving a high-performance sales team to achieve monthly retail targets while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction standards. It focuses on monitoring lead conversions, mentoring sales consultants, and ensuring seamless showroom operations in alignment with OEM guidelines.
Lead and motivate a team of 5-8 Sales Consultants to achieve monthly individual and team sales targets.
Monitor lead management and follow-up activities through the Dealership Management System (DMS) to ensure high conversion ratios.
Conduct daily morning huddles to review the previous day's performance and plan current day activities.
Assist the team in closing complex deals, handling customer objections, and managing high-value negotiations.
Ensure strict adherence to OEM standards for showroom walk-ins, test drive protocols, and vehicle delivery processes.
Coordinate with the Finance and Insurance (F&I) department to facilitate quick loan approvals and insurance renewals.
Analyze local market trends and competitor activities to provide feedback for sales promotion strategies.
Oversee the administrative reporting of sales figures, stock availability, and customer feedback metrics.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in automotive retail sales.
Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Proficiency in using CRM software and Dealership Management Systems (DMS).
Excellent communication skills in English and the local regional language.
Valid four-wheeler driving license and ability to conduct test drives.
Strong understanding of automotive financing, insurance, and RTO processes.
Experience working with a reputed Tier-1 or Tier-2 passenger vehicle OEM.
Prior experience in a Senior Sales Consultant or acting Team Leader role.
Advanced knowledge of vehicle technical specifications and competitor mapping.

Education: Graduate in any discipline
Experience: 3 to 5 years in automotive sales.
Valid Four-Wheeler Driving License
On-site showroom environment; 6 days a week; standard shift timings (usually 9:30 AM - 6:30 PM).
Successful candidates can progress to Assistant Sales Manager or Sales Manager roles within the dealership network based on performance and leadership potential.
