This role facilitates the end-to-end vehicle restoration process by serving as the primary bridge between customers, insurance surveyors, and the workshop technical team. It focuses on providing accurate repair estimates, managing complex claim documentation, and ensuring high-quality bodywork delivery within committed timelines to maintain superior customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and prepare detailed repair estimates for accidental damage using standard labor codes and OEM parts catalogs.
- Liaise with insurance surveyors to facilitate claim inspections and ensure maximum coverage approvals for customers.
- Maintain regular communication with customers regarding repair progress, cost updates, and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with the bodyshop floor supervisor and paint shop team to optimize workflow and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Manage all documentation for cashless and non-cashless insurance claims, ensuring strict compliance with OEM and insurer guidelines.
- Upsell value-added services such as ceramic coating, underbody protection, and interior detailing to enhance workshop revenue.
- Perform final vehicle inspections post-repair to ensure zero-rework and total compliance with the original repair order.
- Utilize the Dealer Management System (DMS) to track inventory, labor hours, and billing accuracy for every job card.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in an authorized automotive bodyshop or service center environment.
- In-depth understanding of motor insurance claim procedures, including cashless and reimbursement workflows.
- Proficiency in using Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and estimation tools like Audatex or Eurotax.
- Valid four-wheeler driving license for vehicle movement and quality testing.
- Strong technical knowledge of body repair techniques, denting processes, and painting standards.
- Ability to explain technical repairs to non-technical customers clearly and professionally.
Preferred
- Prior experience working with premium or luxury automotive brands in the Indian market.
- IRDA certification or specialized training in insurance coordination.
- Fluency in the local language along with professional proficiency in English.

Work Environment
On-site workshop environment with standard 6-day work weeks, typically from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM.
