This role involves acting as the first point of contact for potential customers, focusing on lead generation and appointment scheduling for the sales and service departments. It requires a proactive approach to convert database leads into showroom footfall while maintaining high standards of customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound calls to prospective leads generated through digital platforms and marketing campaigns to introduce vehicle models and ongoing offers.
- Schedule and confirm test drive appointments and showroom visits, coordinating closely with the Sales Consultants.
- Perform follow-up calls for service reminders, insurance renewals, and post-sales feedback to ensure customer retention.
- Maintain and update the Dealer Management System (DMS) with accurate customer details and interaction history.
- Handle inbound inquiries regarding vehicle specifications, pricing, and availability with professional etiquette.
- Explain basic financing schemes and exchange offers to pique customer interest during initial conversations.
- Achieve daily and weekly targets for call volume and lead conversion as set by the Front Office Manager.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal communication skills in the local language and Hindi.
- Basic proficiency in English for data entry and email communication.
- Ability to handle repetitive tasks with high energy and a positive attitude.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Strong persuasive skills and the ability to handle customer objections gracefully.
- Willingness to work in a target-oriented environment.
Preferred
- Interest in the automotive industry and knowledge of current car/two-wheeler trends.
- Residency within a 10km radius of the dealership for easy commuting.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing internship or part-time role.
