Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual volume targets for new vehicle sales.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Sales Consultants and Team Leaders to exceed performance benchmarks while maintaining a positive workplace culture.
- Monitor the Dealer Management System (DMS) daily to track lead conversions, follow-ups, and test drive ratios.
- Ensure seamless coordination with the Finance and Insurance (F&I) department to maximize value-added services and loan disbursements.
- Maintain strong relationships with OEM representatives to align dealership operations with national brand standards and guidelines.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to provide actionable insights for localized marketing and BTL campaigns.
- Oversee showroom floor management to ensure a premium customer experience and high Sales Satisfaction Index (SSI) scores.
- Manage vehicle inventory and stock aging to optimize working capital and ensure timely deliveries to customers.
Requirements
- Proven track record of managing sales teams in an authorized automotive dealership environment.
- Deep understanding of the Indian automotive retail landscape and local market dynamics.
- Expertise in lead management systems and CRM tools used in the auto industry.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Valid four-wheeler driving license and willingness to travel for field activations.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure, target-oriented environment.
Preferred
- Experience working with premium or luxury automotive brands.
- Strong network within the local banking and insurance sectors for faster processing.
- Familiarity with digital lead generation and social media marketing for dealerships.
