This role focuses on driving vehicle sales through proactive lead generation and direct customer engagement within assigned territories. It involves building a robust sales pipeline by conducting field visits, organizing local marketing activities, and delivering exceptional product demonstrations to prospective buyers in the automotive sector.
Conduct daily field visits and door-to-door prospecting to identify potential automobile buyers and expand the customer base.
Organize and execute local area marketing (LAM) activities such as roadshows, canopy events, and residential society displays.
Maintain and update the Dealer Management System (DMS) with accurate lead information, follow-up status, and customer interactions.
Provide detailed product demonstrations and facilitate test drives for prospective customers to highlight vehicle features and USPs.
Coordinate with the Finance and Insurance (F&I) department to assist customers with loan documentation and insurance processing.
Achieve monthly sales targets for vehicle units, genuine accessories, and value-added services (VAS).
Build and maintain strong relationships with local influencers and existing customers to generate high-quality referrals.
Monitor competitor activities and pricing in the assigned territory to provide feedback to the sales leadership team.
Proven track record in field sales or direct marketing, preferably within the automotive or retail sector.
Excellent verbal communication skills in the local regional language and functional English.
Possession of a valid two-wheeler license and a personal vehicle for daily field travel.
Strong negotiation and closing skills with a persistent, result-oriented mindset.
Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, target-driven environment with minimal supervision.
Basic proficiency in using mobile applications and digital reporting tools.
Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with diverse customer segments.
Experience using CRM software or OEM-specific Dealer Management Systems.
In-depth knowledge of local geography and regional customer demographics.
Prior experience in organizing community-level promotional events.
