This leadership role oversees the end-to-end human resources lifecycle across multiple dealership locations, focusing on talent acquisition, statutory compliance, and performance management. It involves building a robust organizational culture that aligns with OEM standards while driving employee productivity in a high-paced automotive environment.
Lead full-cycle recruitment for sales, service, and technical departments to ensure 100% manpower fulfillment.
Manage monthly payroll processing, attendance tracking, and incentive calculations for all dealership staff.
Ensure total compliance with Indian labor laws, including PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, and the Shop & Establishment Act.
Implement and monitor annual performance appraisal cycles and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for diverse teams.
Coordinate with OEM training managers to ensure all staff complete mandatory product and technical certifications.
Handle employee grievance redressal and maintain a healthy workplace environment through regular site visits.
Oversee administrative functions including vendor management for facility security and housekeeping.
Develop and execute employee engagement initiatives to reduce attrition in high-turnover roles like Sales Executives.
3-5 years of core HR experience, preferably in the Indian Automotive or Retail sector.
In-depth knowledge of Indian Labor Laws and statutory compliance protocols.
Proven track record in high-volume recruitment for front-line sales and technical roles.
Hands-on experience with HRMS software and advanced Microsoft Excel.
Ability to communicate effectively in English and the local regional language.
Experience in managing payroll and incentive structures for commission-based teams.
Prior experience working with an authorized automobile dealership group.
Certification in HR Analytics or Labor Law from a recognized Indian institute.
Experience in handling unionized or large-scale technical workforces.

On-site dealership environment, 6 days a week, standard shift (10:00 AM - 7:00 PM). Requires occasional travel to various showroom and workshop branches.
Potential to scale into a Group HR Head role for the entire dealership network or move into Regional HR roles within the OEM ecosystem.
