This role involves driving vehicle sales by providing exceptional customer service and technical guidance throughout the buyer's journey. It requires managing the end-to-end sales process from lead generation to final delivery, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and consistent achievement of monthly volume targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage walk-in customers and digital leads through the Dealer Management System (DMS) and CRM.
- Conduct professional product demonstrations and organized test drives for prospective buyers adhering to safety protocols.
- Explain complex financing options, insurance policies, and value-added services like AMC and extended warranties to customers.
- Coordinate with the stockyard and PDI team to ensure timely vehicle preparation and error-free delivery documentation.
- Build and maintain a strong referral network and database to generate organic leads and repeat business.
- Achieve monthly sales targets for new vehicles, accessories, and finance/insurance penetration.
- Ensure 100% compliance with OEM sales processes, dress codes, and showroom hygiene standards.
- Follow up regularly with prospective leads and provide post-delivery support to ensure long-term customer loyalty.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any stream (B.A., B.Com, B.Sc, or BBA).
- Valid four-wheeler driving license is mandatory for conducting test drives.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive retail sales or high-value retail environments.
- Proficiency in the local language and functional English for professional communication.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding monthly sales KPIs.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills with a customer-centric approach.
Preferred
- Previous experience with a premium or luxury automotive brand.
- In-depth knowledge of the local automotive market and competitor product offerings.
- Certification in professional sales training or OEM-specific sales modules.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and festive season rushes.
