Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and monitor a team of Sales Consultants to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase showroom walk-ins and digital enquiries.
- Oversee the entire sales process from lead generation in CRM to final vehicle delivery and documentation.
- Coordinate with the OEM for inventory management, scheme implementation, and product training.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to provide actionable insights to senior management.
- Ensure high levels of Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and Sales Satisfaction Index (SSI) through quality service.
- Manage the sales funnel efficiency, including test drive ratios and booking-to-retail conversion rates.
- Conduct daily morning huddles to review pipelines and address bottlenecks in the sales cycle.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in automotive sales, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of the Indian automotive market and local consumer behavior.
- Proficiency in Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and CRM software operations.
- Excellent command over the local language and professional English.
- Valid four-wheeler driving license and willingness to participate in field activities.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets consistently.
Preferred
- Previous experience working with a reputed Tier-1 automotive brand (Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata Motors, etc.).
- Strong network within local banks and insurance providers for F&I coordination.
- Advanced certification in professional sales management or leadership.
