Responsible for performing high-quality vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs in a fast-paced workshop environment. This role ensures all mechanical and electrical systems meet original equipment manufacturer standards while prioritizing safety and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute routine maintenance services including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks according to OEM schedules.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using advanced scanning tools and manual inspection techniques.
- Perform complex repairs on engines, transmissions, braking systems, and suspensions.
- Maintain a clean and organized bay while adhering to all workshop safety protocols and environmental regulations.
- Document all work performed and parts used accurately within the Dealer Management System (DMS).
- Collaborate with Service Advisors to explain technical issues and provide accurate repair estimates.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and calibrated for daily use.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in a multi-brand or authorized OEM workshop.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic scanners.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
- Strong understanding of internal combustion engines and automotive electrical systems.
- Valid two-wheeler or four-wheeler driving license.
Preferred
- Previous experience with major Indian OEM brands such as Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, or Tata Motors.
- Basic knowledge of Electric Vehicle (EV) components and high-voltage safety.
- Exposure to specialized repair areas like AC systems or wheel alignment.
