This role involves spearheading a dedicated team of sales consultants to achieve monthly showroom targets while ensuring exceptional customer service. It focuses on monitoring lead conversions, providing on-the-ground coaching, and maintaining seamless coordination between the workshop and the sales floor.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and drive the daily performance of sales consultants to meet monthly retail and wholesale targets.
- Conduct daily morning huddles to track lead pipelines, test drive schedules, and follow-up activities.
- Assist team members in closing high-value deals and handling complex customer negotiations on the floor.
- Ensure strict adherence to the OEM's standardized sales process and maintain high levels of showroom hygiene.
- Oversee the Dealer Management System (DMS) entries to ensure 100% data accuracy and real-time lead tracking.
- Analyze lost cases and implement corrective actions to improve the overall team conversion ratio.
- Organize and participate in outdoor sales activities, corporate displays, and local promotional events.
Requirements
- Proven experience in automotive sales with a strong track record of individual target achievement.
- Excellent communication skills in English and the local regional language.
- Valid four-wheeler driving license and proficiency in conducting professional test drives.
- Strong understanding of the Indian automotive market, including competitor models and pricing.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with a standard 6-day work week.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for sales reporting.
Preferred
- Prior experience in a senior sales or acting lead role within an authorized dealership.
- Familiarity with digital lead management tools and social media marketing for automotive sales.
- Working knowledge of motor insurance (IRDA) and automotive finance processes.

Qualifications

Certifications: Valid Indian 4-Wheeler Driving License, OEM Sales Certification (preferred)
Work Environment
On-site dealership showroom environment with occasional travel for field visits and corporate events; 6-day work week is standard.
