This role focuses on managing the end-to-end employee lifecycle and supporting administrative human resource functions within a dynamic automotive dealership environment. It involves coordinating recruitment, payroll inputs, and statutory compliance to ensure smooth operational flow and high employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for sales, service, and technical roles to meet OEM manning scale requirements.
- Execute the onboarding process, including documentation, background verification, and induction for new joiners.
- Maintain accurate employee databases in the Dealer Management System (DMS) and physical personal files.
- Collate and verify monthly attendance and leave data for accurate payroll processing and incentive calculation.
- Assist in ensuring statutory compliance related to PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, and Labor Welfare Fund.
- Organize employee engagement initiatives and training programs to improve workplace culture and productivity.
- Address employee grievances and provide policy clarifications to staff across various departments.
- Coordinate the exit process, including full and final settlements and conducting exit interviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (B.Com, BBA, or equivalent) from a recognized university.
- Fluency in English and the local regional language for effective staff communication.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel for maintaining trackers and reports.
- Basic understanding of Indian labor laws and statutory compliance frameworks.
- Ability to handle confidential information with high integrity.
- Comfortable working in a 6-day work week dealership environment.
Preferred
- MBA or Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management.
- Previous internship experience in the automotive or retail sector.
- Knowledge of HRMS software or experience with Dealer Management Systems.
