This leadership role focuses on overseeing the entire after-sales service department to ensure operational efficiency and high profitability. The selected candidate will be responsible for driving customer loyalty through exceptional service quality while maintaining strict adherence to OEM standards and workshop safety protocols.
Manage daily workshop operations, including floor supervision, job card opening, and vehicle delivery schedules.
Monitor and achieve monthly service revenue targets, labor productivity, and spare parts sales goals.
Ensure 100% compliance with OEM service standards, technical campaigns, and warranty claim processes.
Lead and mentor a diverse team of Service Advisors, Technicians, and workshop support staff to improve performance.
Analyze workshop performance data through the Dealer Management System (DMS) to identify and rectify operational bottlenecks.
Resolve high-level customer escalations and implement strategies to improve the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI).
Coordinate with the spare parts and inventory department to ensure optimal stock levels for high-demand components.
Conduct regular technical training sessions and safety audits to maintain a high-performance work culture.
Minimum 5-8 years of experience in automotive service operations at an authorized dealership.
In-depth knowledge of workshop management and Dealer Management Systems (DMS) like Autoline or SAP.
Strong understanding of vehicle mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic systems.
Proven track record of meeting service revenue and CSI targets.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team of 20+ members.
Valid four-wheeler driving license.
Experience working with major passenger or commercial vehicle OEMs in India.
Exposure to Lean Six Sigma or 5S methodologies in a workshop environment.
Existing certification as a Service Manager from a reputed automotive brand.

Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering; MBA in Operations preferred
Experience: 5-8 years in automotive service, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
Certifications: OEM Service Management Certification, Workshop Safety & Compliance Certification
On-site workshop and office environment; standard 6-day work week (Monday to Saturday).
Candidates demonstrating consistent performance can progress to General Manager - After Sales within the dealership network.
