This role involves driving retail growth by identifying potential customers and guiding them through a seamless vehicle purchasing journey. It focuses on achieving volume targets while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction and brand loyalty within the automotive dealership ecosystem.
Generate high-quality leads through field activities, digital inquiries, and showroom walk-ins to maintain a robust sales pipeline.
Conduct professional product demonstrations and facilitate vehicle test drives while explaining technical features and USPs.
Manage the end-to-end sales process, including price negotiations, financing options coordination, and insurance documentation.
Maintain meticulous records of all customer interactions and lead statuses in the Dealer Management System (DMS).
Collaborate with the Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) and workshop teams to ensure timely and error-free vehicle deliveries.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for vehicle units, accessories, and extended warranties.
Provide exceptional post-delivery support to build long-term relationships and encourage customer referrals.
Any Graduate degree from a recognized university in India.
3-5 years of direct sales experience, preferably within the automotive or high-value retail sector.
Valid permanent four-wheeler driving license and comfort with conducting test drives.
Excellent command over the local regional language and professional proficiency in English.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a target-driven environment.
Strong understanding of automotive finance, RTO processes, and insurance products.
Prior experience working with a Tier-1 or Tier-2 OEM dealership.
Familiarity with digital lead management tools and social media for sales prospecting.
Local residency and deep knowledge of the assigned territory's geography.
DMS (Dealer Management System) proficiency, Microsoft Office Suite, CRM Software, Automotive Technical Knowledge
Persuasive Communication, Active Listening, Negotiation and Closing, Customer Relationship Management, Resilience and Adaptability
Education: Graduate in any stream; MBA in Marketing is a plus
Experience: 3 to 5 years in Automotive Sales or related retail sectors
Certifications: OEM Product Certification (preferred), IRDA License (optional but beneficial)
Full-time, on-site role at the dealership showroom with a 6-day work week. Requires frequent local travel for field visits and customer test drives.
High-performing executives are eligible for promotion to Senior Sales Consultant or Team Leader roles within 18-24 months. Opportunities also exist for lateral movement into Corporate Sales or Exchange/Pre-owned Car divisions.
