This senior leadership position involves overseeing the end-to-end P&L and strategic operations of the spare parts and accessories division across the organization's network. The focus is on optimizing supply chain efficiency, maximizing revenue through value-added sales, and ensuring world-class inventory management standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and manage the entire P&L for the Spares and Accessories department across multiple dealership locations and regional warehouses.
- Formulate and execute strategic growth plans to increase the penetration of genuine accessories and value-added products.
- Optimize inventory management protocols to achieve high fill rates while minimizing carrying costs and obsolete stock levels.
- Lead negotiations and maintain high-level relationships with OEM parts departments and external vendors for procurement and logistics.
- Oversee the implementation and optimization of Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) for real-time tracking.
- Conduct regular performance audits and ensure 100% compliance with OEM standards and internal financial controls.
- Develop and mentor a high-performing team of Parts Managers and Warehouse Leads to foster operational excellence.
- Analyze market trends and competitor pricing to design effective promotional campaigns and loyalty programs for customers.
Requirements
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in automotive spare parts management with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale inventory and multi-crore P&L responsibilities.
- Deep expertise in Indian automotive supply chain logistics and OEM procurement processes.
- Advanced proficiency in Dealer Management Systems (DMS) such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical skills for demand forecasting and inventory aging analysis.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management capabilities at a corporate level.
Preferred
- Experience working with premium or luxury automotive brands in the Indian market.
- Professional certification in Supply Chain Management or Lean Six Sigma.
- Experience in setting up centralized warehouse operations from the ground up.

Work Environment
