Key Responsibilities
- Perform periodic maintenance services (PMS) including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid top-ups according to manufacturer standards.
- Conduct basic inspections of brakes, suspension, and electrical systems to identify and report potential mechanical issues.
- Assist senior technicians in complex engine and transmission overhauls to gain advanced technical expertise.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation while ensuring all specialized tools and equipment are properly handled and stored.
- Document all repair work, inspections, and parts used accurately in the digital or physical job card for service records.
- Follow OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) manuals and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for every repair task.
- Participate in daily workshop meetings and adhere to the floor supervisor's instructions to meet delivery timelines.
Requirements
- Strong fundamental knowledge of automotive mechanics and vehicle systems.
- Ability to handle hand tools, pneumatic equipment, and basic measuring instruments safely.
- Physical stamina to work in a workshop environment involving standing and manual labor for extended hours.
- Basic understanding of petrol, diesel, or electric vehicle engine components.
- A valid two-wheeler driving license is mandatory.
- Punctuality and a disciplined approach to workshop safety protocols.
Preferred
- Familiarity with digital diagnostic scanners and automotive software.
- Previous internship or vocational training experience at an authorized OEM service center.
- Basic computer literacy for updating service records in the DMS (Dealer Management System).

Education

Work Environment
This is a full-time, on-site role based in a modern automotive workshop. Standard working hours are 6 days a week, typically from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM, requiring active physical involvement and adherence to shop-floor safety standards.
