This role focuses on driving dealership revenue through proactive customer engagement and the end-to-end management of the vehicle purchase process. It requires a dedicated professional to manage the sales funnel from initial inquiry to final delivery while ensuring top-tier service standards and brand loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage walk-in enquiries and digital leads to maintain a consistent sales pipeline within the dealership.
- Conduct professional product demonstrations and facilitate vehicle test drives following safety protocols and OEM guidelines.
- Present detailed quotations, including breakdown of finance options, insurance, and exchange bonuses to prospective buyers.
- Coordinate with the stockyard and PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) teams to ensure vehicles are ready for scheduled deliveries.
- Maintain meticulous records of all customer interactions and lead statuses in the Dealer Management System (DMS).
- Achieve monthly individual targets for vehicle units, genuine accessories, and value-added services.
- Execute field activities and corporate displays to generate new leads and increase brand visibility in the local territory.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and completion of all documentation required for vehicle registration and loan disbursement.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of experience in automotive sales or high-value retail sectors in India.
- A valid permanent four-wheeler driving license is mandatory for conducting customer test drives.
- Proficiency in the local regional language and working knowledge of English or Hindi.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed monthly sales quotas in a target-driven environment.
- Flexibility to work on weekends and participate in outdoor promotional events.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse customer profiles.
Preferred
- Previous experience with a major OEM dealership (e.g., Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata Motors, or Mahindra).
- Hands-on experience with automotive CRM software such as Autoline, SAP, or Salesforce.
- Basic understanding of motor insurance (IRDA) and retail finance processes.

Work Environment
On-site showroom operations with a standard 6-day work week. Role involves a mix of showroom floor management and local field visits for client meetings and test drives.
