This role involves driving vehicle sales through proactive customer engagement and lead management. Focus is placed on delivering an exceptional buying experience while achieving monthly volume targets in a high-energy showroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage showroom walk-ins and digital leads to convert prospects into confirmed bookings.
- Conduct professional vehicle demonstrations and facilitate test drives to highlight key features and benefits.
- Explain financing options, insurance products, and extended warranties to assist customers in the purchasing process.
- Maintain accurate records in the Dealer Management System (DMS) and ensure timely follow-ups on all leads.
- Coordinate with the stockyard and workshop teams to ensure vehicle Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) and timely delivery.
- Cross-sell accessories and value-added services to maximize revenue per vehicle sold.
- Ensure high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores by providing excellent after-sales support and relationship management.
- Participate in outdoor marketing activities, roadshows, and corporate displays to generate fresh leads.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of experience in automotive sales or high-value retail sales.
- Graduate degree in any stream (B.Com, BBA, B.A., or equivalent).
- Valid four-wheeler driving license is mandatory for conducting test drives.
- Fluency in the local language and functional knowledge of English.
- Comfortable working in a target-driven environment with a 6-day work week.
- Strong understanding of the local automotive market and competitor models.
Preferred
- Previous experience with an OEM-authorized dealership.
- Working knowledge of CRM software or Dealer Management Systems (DMS).
- Understanding of vehicle finance and insurance documentation.
