This role focuses on driving retail volume by converting prospects into customers through expert product consultation and relationship management. It involves managing the entire sales lifecycle from lead generation and test drives to vehicle delivery and post-sales follow-up within a high-performance showroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage walk-in enquiries and digital leads through the Dealer Management System (DMS) to ensure timely follow-ups.
- Conduct professional product demonstrations and facilitate vehicle test drives to showcase features and performance.
- Provide comprehensive consultation on financing options, insurance, and genuine accessories to maximize per-vehicle revenue.
- Coordinate with the logistics and PDI teams to ensure vehicles are ready for delivery as per the promised schedule.
- Execute outdoor sales activities, including corporate displays, apartment activations, and local roadshows to generate fresh leads.
- Collect and verify all necessary KYC documentation for vehicle registration and loan processing.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction (CSAT) by providing a seamless and transparent buying experience.
- Achieve monthly retail targets and key performance indicators as defined by the Sales Manager.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in retail sales, preferably within the automotive industry.
- Must possess a valid four-wheeler driving license and be confident in driving various vehicle models.
- Excellent communication skills in the local language and a working knowledge of English.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a retail environment.
- Ability to work a 6-day week, including weekends and public holidays.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using CRM software.
Preferred
- Previous experience working with an authorized OEM dealership (e.g., Maruti, Tata, Mahindra, Hyundai).
- In-depth knowledge of local RTO regulations and automotive insurance processes.
- Existing network within corporate sectors for institutional sales.

Qualifications

Certifications: Valid 4-Wheeler Driving License (Mandatory), OEM Sales Certification (Preferred)
Work Environment
On-site showroom role with 6-day work weeks. Requires occasional travel for field marketing activities, corporate visits, and customer test drives.
