This role focuses on driving vehicle sales through proactive outdoor lead generation and territory development. It involves identifying potential buyers through on-ground activities, conducting door-step demonstrations, and building a robust pipeline of prospects to ensure consistent monthly retail growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily field visits and door-to-door prospecting to identify potential automotive buyers in the assigned territory.
- Organize and execute outdoor marketing activities including canopy setups, roadshows, and local community events.
- Provide professional vehicle demonstrations and coordinate door-step test drives for prospective customers.
- Maintain meticulous records of all field leads and follow-up activities in the Dealer Management System (DMS).
- Educate customers on various finance schemes, insurance options, and exchange bonuses available at the dealership.
- Negotiate and close sales deals while ensuring all documentation for vehicle booking is accurately collected.
- Collaborate with the showroom team to ensure a seamless delivery experience for customers acquired through field efforts.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as set by the dealership management.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of proven experience in field sales, preferably within the automotive, telecom, or BFSI sectors.
- Must possess a valid two-wheeler driving license and a personal vehicle for daily field travel.
- Fluency in the local regional language and a working knowledge of Hindi or English.
- Strong geographic knowledge of the assigned local territory and market potential.
- High level of resilience and the ability to work in an outdoor, target-driven environment.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for using internal sales apps and lead tracking tools.
Preferred
- Previous experience working with an authorized automotive dealership (OEM).
- Basic understanding of vehicle technical specifications and RTO processes.
- Existing network within local commercial hubs or residential welfare associations (RWAs).

This is a field-intensive role requiring 6 days of work per week. The executive will spend 80% of their time outdoors meeting prospects and 20% at the dealership for reporting and meetings.
