This role involves managing the end-to-end customer journey from initial inquiry to vehicle delivery within a high-performance showroom environment. It focuses on delivering expert product consultations and achieving sales targets while ensuring an exceptional brand experience for every prospective buyer.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage showroom walk-ins and digital leads to convert prospects into confirmed bookings.
- Conduct professional product demonstrations and facilitate scheduled test drives to showcase vehicle features and performance.
- Maintain and update the Dealer Management System (DMS) and CRM with accurate lead data and follow-up status.
- Coordinate with the Finance and Insurance (F&I) team to provide comprehensive loan and insurance solutions to customers.
- Ensure a seamless vehicle delivery process, including documentation, PDI coordination, and feature explanation.
- Achieve monthly sales targets for vehicles, genuine accessories, and value-added services.
- Conduct proactive outbound calling and follow-ups to maintain a healthy sales pipeline and re-engage dormant leads.
- Collect and report market intelligence regarding competitor pricing, schemes, and customer preferences.
Requirements
- Graduation in any stream from a recognized university.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in automotive sales or premium retail environments.
- Valid four-wheeler driving license and proficiency in driving for test drive assistance.
- Excellent communication skills in English and the local regional language.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills to handle diverse customer profiles.
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with mobile-based CRM applications.
Preferred
- Prior experience with an authorized OEM dealership (Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata, etc.).
- Certification in professional sales training or customer relationship management.
- Proven track record of achieving sales incentives and high CSI scores.
- Knowledge of local RTO processes and automotive insurance norms.
