Responsible for overseeing the end-to-end inventory management of automotive spare parts and accessories to ensure seamless workshop operations. This role focuses on maintaining optimal stock levels, minimizing discrepancies, and coordinating with the service team for timely parts fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily inward and outward movement of automotive spare parts and accessories within the dealership.
- Maintain accurate real-time records in the Dealer Management System (DMS) for all inventory transactions.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile findings with system data to ensure zero variance.
- Supervise picking, packing, and binning processes to ensure organized storage and rapid retrieval for the service floor.
- Coordinate with OEM vendors and logistics partners to track shipments and manage procurement schedules.
- Monitor inventory health by identifying slow-moving and obsolete parts to implement liquidation strategies.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety protocols and maintain the overall hygiene and organization of the godown.
- Lead and mentor a team of warehouse assistants to achieve daily operational and dispatch targets.
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse or inventory management specifically within the automotive sector.
- Hands-on proficiency in using Dealer Management Systems (DMS) or SAP-based inventory modules.
- Strong understanding of inventory control techniques such as FIFO, LIFO, and ABC analysis.
- Ability to handle physical inventory tasks and oversee heavy-lifting operations safely.
- Fluency in the local language and functional knowledge of English for reporting and documentation.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail in stock reconciliation.
Preferred
- Experience working with authorized dealerships of major Indian or Global OEMs.
- Knowledge of GST documentation, E-way bill generation, and commercial invoicing.
- Certification in Supply Chain Management or Logistics.

Work Environment
Standard 6-day work week on-site at the dealership warehouse/godown. Requires frequent interaction with the Service Manager and Technical team.
