Act as the primary bridge between customers and the technical workshop team to ensure high-quality vehicle maintenance and repair services. This entry-level role focuses on diagnosing customer needs, providing accurate estimates, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the service lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough vehicle walk-around inspections and document inventory details upon arrival.
- Interact with customers to understand vehicle issues and translate them into technical instructions for the workshop team via Job Cards.
- Provide customers with accurate cost estimates and timelines for repairs, routine maintenance, and bodywork.
- Monitor the progress of vehicles on the workshop floor to ensure promised delivery times are met.
- Promote and sell value-added services including Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC), extended warranties, and specialized cleaning treatments.
- Explain the final invoice, work performed, and replaced parts to the customer during the vehicle delivery process.
- Manage post-service follow-up calls to collect feedback and resolve any pending customer concerns.
- Maintain updated records in the Dealer Management System (DMS) for all service transactions.
Requirements
- Fundamental knowledge of automotive mechanical and electrical systems.
- Strong verbal communication skills in the local language and functional English.
- Customer-centric mindset with the ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly.
- Basic proficiency in computer operations and data entry.
- Valid two-wheeler or four-wheeler driving license.
- Physical stamina to work in a workshop environment for extended hours.
Preferred
- Familiarity with Dealer Management Systems (DMS) such as Autoline, SAP, or GDS.
- Previous internship experience at an authorized OEM service center.
- Basic understanding of motor insurance claim processes.
