This role involves managing large datasets to provide actionable insights that drive dealership efficiency and OEM compliance. It focuses on the accurate collection, analysis, and reporting of sales and service data to support strategic business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update daily sales and service performance reports within the Dealer Management System (DMS).
- Generate periodic MIS reports (Daily, Weekly, Monthly) for senior management and OEM regional offices.
- Monitor and track vehicle inventory levels and spare parts stock to ensure optimal supply chain flow.
- Validate and process incentive calculations for the sales and service teams based on verified performance data.
- Perform data reconciliation between internal records and OEM portals to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Identify trends in customer footfall, test drives, and service bookings to assist in forecasting.
- Develop and automate Excel templates to streamline routine reporting tasks and reduce manual errors.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide ad-hoc data analysis for marketing campaigns and service camps.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in MIS or data management, ideally within the automotive industry.
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and advanced formulas.
- Hands-on experience with automotive Dealer Management Systems (DMS) such as MSIL-DMS, Autoline, or similar.
- Graduate degree in B.Com, BCA, B.Sc, or a related field from a recognized university.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- High level of attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
Preferred
- Basic knowledge of SQL or data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
- Certification in Advanced Excel or Data Analytics.
- Familiarity with Tally ERP for financial data reconciliation.
