This role serves as the critical link between customers and the technical workshop team, ensuring that vehicle concerns are accurately captured and translated into actionable repair orders. The focus is on maintaining high service standards, managing repair timelines, and driving customer loyalty through professional interaction and transparent communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough vehicle walk-around inspections and document existing conditions using digital inventory tools.
- Translate customer concerns into detailed job cards for the technical team to ensure accurate diagnostics.
- Provide customers with precise cost estimates and expected delivery timelines based on workshop load and parts availability.
- Actively promote and upsell value-added services, extended warranties, and genuine accessories to meet revenue targets.
- Monitor the progress of vehicles in the workshop and provide regular status updates to customers.
- Explain technical repairs and invoice details to customers clearly during the vehicle delivery process.
- Handle customer grievances and concerns professionally to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Ensure all documentation complies with OEM standards and internal audit requirements.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience as a Service Advisor in an authorized automobile dealership.
- Fluency in the local language and functional proficiency in English.
- Basic understanding of automotive mechanical and electrical systems.
- Hands-on experience with Dealer Management Systems (DMS) such as SAP, Oracle, or MS Office.
- Valid four-wheeler driving license for conducting test drives with customers.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with specific daily targets.
Preferred
- Prior experience working with a major OEM (Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata Motors, etc.).
- Knowledge of insurance claim processing and cashless garage procedures.
- Certification in customer relationship management or automotive service excellence.

Work Environment
Standard authorized dealership workshop environment. Requires 6 days a week on-site presence with standard operational hours (typically 9 AM to 6 PM).
