Sales Executive

Job Summary:

The Sales Executive is responsible for selling automobiles (cars/commercial vehicles/two-wheelers) by understanding customer needs, demonstrating vehicle features, closing sales, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role involves achieving sales targets, maintaining relationships, and contributing to dealership revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Business Development

Greet and assist customers visiting the showroom.

Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable vehicles.

Explain vehicle features, specifications, pricing, and finance options.

Conduct test drives and product demonstrations.

Negotiate prices and close sales deals.

Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

2. Customer Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong customer relationships.

Follow up on inquiries and leads (walk-ins, calls, online leads).

Maintain customer database and update CRM system.

Ensure high customer satisfaction and generate referrals.

Handle customer queries and coordinate post-sale services.

3. Documentation & Coordination

Assist customers with documentation for vehicle purchase.

Coordinate with finance and insurance departments.

Ensure timely vehicle delivery and explain delivery process.

Support registration and compliance documentation.

4. Market Awareness

Stay updated on competitor models, pricing, and promotions.

Understand current market trends in the automobile industry.

Participate in promotional events, roadshows, and exhibitions.

Required Skills:

Basic knowledge of automobiles and vehicle specifications

Basic computer and CRM knowledge

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma (preferred)

Experience in automobile sales or retail sales (1–3 years preferred)
