This role focuses on driving revenue through proactive customer engagement and managing the end-to-end sales process for new vehicles. It involves building strong relationships with potential buyers to ensure high conversion rates and exceptional customer satisfaction in a fast-paced dealership environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage showroom walk-ins and digital leads to convert prospects into customers through effective product presentations.
- Conduct professional vehicle demonstrations and organized test drives according to OEM standards and safety protocols.
- Explain financing options, insurance, and value-added services like extended warranties and accessories to provide a complete solution.
- Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and follow-ups in the Dealer Management System (DMS) daily.
- Coordinate with the stockyard and workshop teams to ensure timely and error-free vehicle delivery to the customer.
- Achieve monthly sales targets for vehicle units, insurance, and accessories as defined by the Sales Manager.
- Conduct post-delivery follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and generate referrals for future business.
- Participate in outdoor promotional activities, corporate displays, and local marketing events to generate new leads.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of experience in automotive sales or high-value retail sales.
- Valid permanent four-wheeler driving license is mandatory.
- Proficiency in the local regional language and working knowledge of English.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding monthly sales targets.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment with a 6-day work week.
Preferred
- Prior experience working with a reputed OEM authorized dealership.
- Knowledge of local RTO processes and automotive insurance documentation.
- Familiarity with CRM software or specialized Dealer Management Systems like Autoline or SAP.
