This role involves identifying potential customers and guiding them through the entire vehicle purchase journey to ensure a premium buying experience. It requires a proactive approach to lead conversion and maintaining a robust sales pipeline through consistent follow-ups and market engagement.
Conduct outdoor marketing activities and lead generation to build a strong prospect database.
Deliver detailed product demonstrations and facilitate vehicle test drives for prospective buyers.
Maintain and update the Dealer Management System (DMS) or CRM with accurate customer interaction logs.
Collaborate with the Finance and Insurance (F&I) team to provide comprehensive purchase solutions to clients.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for vehicles, accessories, and value-added services.
Manage the entire documentation process from booking to final vehicle delivery as per OEM standards.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction to secure repeat business and referrals.
Stay updated on competitor products, pricing, and market trends to handle customer queries effectively.
3-5 years of proven experience in automotive retail sales
Valid 2-wheeler driving license is mandatory
Fluency in the local language and English
Demonstrated ability to work in a high-pressure, target-driven environment
Strong understanding of the local automotive market and customer demographics
Excellent interpersonal and networking skills
Prior experience with a reputed OEM dealership
Proficiency in using CRM software like Salesforce, SAP, or Autoline
Certification in professional selling skills or automotive marketing
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets consistently
Product knowledge (Mechanical & Tech features), CRM/DMS proficiency, MS Excel for sales reporting, Digital lead management, Inventory tracking
Persuasion and negotiation, Rapport building, Resilience and persistence, Time management, Active listening
Education: Graduate (Any stream)
Experience: 3 to 5 years
Certifications: Valid Driving License 2-wheeler
On-site dealership environment, 6 days a week, standard hours 10 AM to 7:00 PM with occasional field visits.
High-performing executives are eligible for promotion to Senior Sales Consultant or Team Leader roles within 18-24 months. Opportunities for cross-functional movement into Corporate Sales or Pre-owned Car divisions.
