This role focuses on driving high-value vehicle sales through proactive lead generation and exceptional customer relationship management within a fast-paced showroom environment. It involves navigating the entire sales lifecycle from initial inquiry to final delivery while ensuring full compliance with OEM standards and dealership protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end sales process for premium vehicle segments, ensuring meticulous documentation in the Dealer Management System (DMS).
- Conduct professional vehicle demonstrations and test drives, expertly highlighting technical specifications, safety features, and unique selling propositions.
- Negotiate pricing, trade-in valuations, and value-added services to close high-ticket deals while maintaining healthy profit margins.
- Coordinate closely with the Finance and Insurance (F&I) team to streamline loan approvals, insurance documentation, and RTO registration processes.
- Maintain post-delivery relationships to drive customer loyalty, generate high-quality referrals, and ensure top-tier Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores.
- Mentor junior sales consultants on effective closing techniques, product knowledge, and lead management strategies.
- Execute field marketing activities, corporate sales presentations, and local events to expand the customer base and increase brand visibility.
- Analyze local market trends and competitor activities to provide actionable feedback to the Sales Manager for strategic planning.
Requirements
- Valid Indian four-wheeler driving license is mandatory.
- Minimum 5 years of core experience in automotive retail sales.
- Proficiency in the local regional language and professional English communication.
- Hands-on experience with CRM software and Dealer Management Systems (DMS) like Autoline or Rev9.
- Proven track record of achieving monthly sales targets and high CSI scores.
- Strong understanding of automotive finance, insurance, and RTO regulations.
Preferred
- Experience working with premium or luxury automotive OEM brands.
- Existing network of corporate clients and high-net-worth individuals (HNIs).
- Prior experience in handling exchange/pre-owned car evaluations.
- Certification in professional selling skills or luxury retail management.
