Front Office Manager

Job Description:

The Mahindra Workshop Technician acts as a key contributor to help dealer achieve and maintain the highest level of service standards in conformance to Mahindra norms.

a)       Repair & Service

Ø  Analyze the job orders to identify what work has been agreed. In case the job order is not clear, seek clarification from the Service Advisor

Ø  Inspect the general condition of the vehicle and make note of any additional damages or repair required

Ø  Provide written details on completed Job orders, ensuring hours and materials used are accurately and appropriately recorded

Ø  Ensure all warranty and exchange Parts are properly labelled and returned to the Warranty/Parts office

Ø  Perform repair work as directed, within manufacturer’s  timescales and in accordance with established and documented procedures guided by Mahindra

Ø  Ensure that vehicle specific maintenance schedules is worked and signed when completed.

Ø  Ensure that job card is signed after completion of work.

Ø  Determine which parts and tools will be required for a given repair or service

Ø  Inform the Service Advisor and the Workshop Manager if a part needs to be ordered

Ø  Ensure that any unused part/s is returned to parts department immediately.

Ø  Test vehicles and provide diagnostic reports to the service advisor / workshop manager

Ø  If further work is required  inform service Advisor and follow the necessary steps for making sure the customer is contacted

Ø  Observe, recognize and report on vehicle and component serviceability
