Responsible for delivering high-quality mechanical and electrical repair services for customer vehicles in a fast-paced workshop environment. This role involves diagnosing complex issues and ensuring all work meets the manufacturer's stringent safety and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and periodic services as per OEM service schedules and guidelines
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using specialized diagnostic tools and handheld scanners
- Execute repairs on engines, transmissions, suspensions, and braking systems with high precision
- Document all repair orders and parts used accurately within the Dealer Management System (DMS)
- Maintain a clean and organized work bay while strictly adhering to workshop safety protocols
- Collaborate with the Service Advisor to provide technical explanations for required repairs
- Conduct final road tests to verify the quality and safety of completed repairs
- Participate in OEM-led technical training sessions to stay updated on new vehicle models and technologies
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in an OEM-authorized or reputable multi-brand workshop
- Proficiency in using pneumatic tools, precision measuring instruments, and diagnostic equipment
- Sound knowledge of internal combustion engines and automotive electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, service bulletins, and wiring diagrams
- Valid two-wheeler or four-wheeler driving license is mandatory
- Physical stamina to work in a workshop environment for standard shift hours
Preferred
- Previous experience working with BS6 engine technology and electronic fuel injection systems
- Familiarity with digital job cards and mobile-based workshop applications
- Basic understanding of Electric Vehicle (EV) high-voltage systems and safety
- Residency within a 10-15 km radius of the workshop location

Work Environment
On-site workshop role with a standard 6-day work week (9 AM - 6 PM). Includes exposure to heavy machinery, lubricants, and standard workshop noise levels.
