This role focuses on delivering high-quality mechanical and electrical repairs for passenger vehicles while ensuring strict adherence to OEM standards. The selected candidate will handle complex diagnostics and mentor junior staff to maintain workshop efficiency and high customer satisfaction scores.
Perform periodic maintenance services (PMS) and general mechanical repairs as per the manufacturer's service manuals.
Conduct thorough vehicle diagnostics using OBD scanners and advanced electronic diagnostic tools to identify root causes.
Execute major component repairs, including engine overhauling, gearbox maintenance, and suspension system overhauls.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the assigned work bay following 5S principles and safety protocols.
Document all repair actions accurately in the physical job card and the digital Dealer Management System (DMS).
Identify and report additional repair requirements to the service advisor to ensure vehicle safety and performance.
Ensure the proper use, calibration, and maintenance of specialized workshop tools and precision equipment.
Adhere to environmental regulations regarding the disposal of hazardous waste like engine oil and coolants.
3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in an authorized workshop or reputed multi-brand service center.
Proven proficiency in using diagnostic scanners and precision measuring instruments like micrometers and torque wrenches.
In-depth knowledge of BS6 engine technology, CRDi systems, and electronic fuel injection (EFI).
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, circuit diagrams, and parts catalogs.
Must possess a valid four-wheeler driving license for testing and moving vehicles.
Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment with a 6-day workweek schedule.
Prior experience working with a major Indian
Basic understanding of commercial heavy vehicle components and high-voltage safety procedures.
Knowledge of the local language to facilitate better communication with ground staff.

On-site authorized workshop with standard 6-day work weeks, usually 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Successful candidates can progress to Master Technician, Floor Supervisor, or Workshop Manager roles within the dealership's expanding network.
