EV Sales Consultant — Mahindra Automobiles (Mahindra Electric / Last Mile Mobility)
To drive retail and fleet sales of Mahindra Electric Vehicles by engaging customers, generating leads, delivering excellent product demonstrations, and ensuring a seamless end-to-end sales experience from enquiry to delivery.
1. Customer Engagement & Sales Conversion
Attend and manage walk-in, digital, and telephonic enquiries for EV products.
Explain EV features, benefits, cost savings, and charging infrastructure to customers.
Conduct effective test drives and demonstrate vehicle performance.
Convert enquiries into bookings and ensure timely follow-ups.
2. Lead Generation & Market Activation
Actively participate in EV awareness campaigns, roadshows, and test-drive events.
Generate leads through local marketing activities and references.
Coordinate with digital marketing teams for online lead conversion.
3. Sales Process Management (ETB-R)
Manage the full sales funnel: Enquiry → Test Drive → Booking → Delivery.
Maintain accurate customer data in CRM / DMS systems.
Ensure proper documentation and booking processes.
Coordinate for smooth vehicle delivery and customer handover.
4. Product Knowledge & EV Awareness
Stay updated on EV technology, battery performance, charging solutions, and government policies/subsidies.
Educate customers on total cost of ownership (TCO) benefits of EVs vs ICE vehicles.
Keep track of competitor EV offerings and market trends.
5. Customer Experience & Relationship Management
Deliver a high-quality buying experience and build long-term customer relationships.
Ensure timely follow-ups post test drive and booking.
Handle customer queries and coordinate with internal teams for resolution.
6. Coordination & Team Support
Work closely with sales managers, finance teams, and delivery teams.
Support dealership in achieving overall EV sales targets.
Assist in stock management and readiness for deliveries.
7. Digital Tools & Sales Enablement
Use CRM / DMS tools for lead tracking and reporting.
Promote digital sales tools such as virtual showroom, online booking, and test drive scheduling.
Good understanding of EV products and customer mindset (training can be provided).
Strong communication and convincing skills.
Customer-centric approach with high energy and enthusiasm.
Basic knowledge of sales processes and documentation.
Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
Familiarity with CRM / digital tools is an advantage.
