TALLY ACCOUNTANT

This position focuses on maintaining precise financial records and managing daily accounting transactions within a fast-paced automotive dealership environment. It requires a detail-oriented professional to ensure all sales, service, and inventory-related entries are compliant with Indian accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily data entry of sales, purchases, receipts, and payment vouchers in Tally Prime/ERP 9.
• Manage vehicle billing, spare parts invoicing, and service center job card accounting.
• Conduct weekly bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow to ensure ledger accuracy.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for GST filings, TDS deductions, and other statutory compliances.
• Coordinate with the Sales and Service departments for payment follow-ups and outstanding collections.
• Maintain organized physical and digital filing systems for all financial records and audit trails.
• Assist the Accounts Manager in preparing monthly trial balances and financial reports.
• Process employee payroll and reimbursement claims in alignment with company policy.

Requirements

• Hands-on proficiency in Tally ERP 9 or Tally Prime.
• Fundamental understanding of GST, TDS, and Indian accounting principles.
• Competency in Microsoft Excel, specifically for data sorting and basic formulas.
• High level of accuracy in data entry and numerical calculations.
• Ability to work in a high-volume transaction environment common in automotive retail.
• Strong ethical standards and integrity in handling financial data.

Preferred

• Prior internship experience in a dealership or retail accounting setup.
• Familiarity with Dealer Management Systems (DMS) used in the automotive industry.
• Basic knowledge of the latest GST portal updates.

Qualifications

Work Environment

Professional on-site office environment within an authorized automotive dealership, operating on a standard 6-day work week (9:30 AM - 6:30 PM).
