This role focuses on driving vehicle sales and market penetration by building strong relationships with prospective buyers. It involves managing the entire customer journey from initial inquiry and product demonstration to final delivery and after-sales follow-up within a high-energy showroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate high-quality leads through cold calling, field visits, and managing digital inquiries.
- Conduct professional product demonstrations and organize test drives to showcase vehicle features and performance.
- Manage the end-to-end sales process including price negotiation, documentation, and vehicle delivery coordination.
- Explain various automotive finance schemes, insurance products, and extended warranty options to customers.
- Maintain and update customer interactions and lead status daily in the Dealer Management System (DMS).
- Coordinate with the stockyard and PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) team to ensure timely and error-free vehicle delivery.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction (CSI).
- Participate in outdoor promotional activities, corporate presentations, and local mall displays to increase brand visibility.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of proven experience in retail sales, preferably within the automotive or consumer durable industry.
- A valid Indian two-wheeler or four-wheeler driving license is mandatory.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in the local language and a working knowledge of English.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment with a focus on monthly closures.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse customer profiles.
- Willingness to work 6 days a week, including weekends and public holidays as per industry standards.
Preferred
- Prior experience working with authorized OEM dealerships (Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata Motors, etc.).
- Hands-on experience using CRM or Dealer Management Systems like Autoline or SAP.
- Existing knowledge of RTO registration processes and motor insurance documentation.

Work Environment
The role is primarily based at the authorized showroom with frequent local travel for customer home visits, test drives, and outdoor marketing events. Standard working hours are 10 AM to 7 PM, 6 days a week.
Growth Opportunities
