This role involves driving vehicle sales through proactive customer engagement, product demonstrations, and relationship management. The focus is on guiding potential buyers through a seamless journey from initial inquiry to final delivery while maintaining high customer satisfaction scores and brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end sales process for new vehicles, including inquiry handling, lead qualification, and showroom walk-ins.
- Conduct professional product demonstrations and organized test drives to highlight vehicle features, safety ratings, and USPs.
- Maintain and update the Dealer Management System (DMS) and CRM with accurate lead data, follow-up status, and customer interactions.
- Coordinate with the Finance and Insurance (F&I) team to assist customers with loan documentation, insurance renewals, and exchange valuations.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for vehicle units, genuine accessories, and value-added services.
- Oversee the vehicle delivery process (PDI coordination), ensuring all documentation is complete and the customer receives a premium delivery experience.
- Conduct post-delivery follow-ups to build long-term relationships, ensure vehicle satisfaction, and generate high-quality referrals.
- Participate in outdoor marketing activities, corporate displays, and mall activations to generate new leads.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in automotive retail sales or a high-end consumer-facing retail industry.
- Valid Indian four-wheeler driving license with a clean driving record.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive dealership environment.
- Fluency in the local language and proficient verbal and written English communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of the Indian automotive market, including competitor models and pricing.
- Ability to work 6 days a week, including weekends and public holidays as per dealership rosters.
Preferred
- Prior experience working with a Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata Motors, or Mahindra authorized dealership.
- OEM-specific product training or certification in professional selling skills.
- Hands-on experience with digital lead management tools and social media for prospecting.

Certifications: OEM Sales Consultant Certification, Test Drive Certification, IRDA (Insurance) certification is an added advantage
