This role focuses on driving vehicle sales by providing exceptional product demonstrations and maintaining strong customer relationships throughout the buying journey. It involves managing the end-to-end sales process from lead generation to final vehicle delivery while ensuring high levels of brand loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage walk-in customers and digital leads through the Dealer Management System (DMS) efficiently.
- Conduct professional test drives and provide detailed explanations of vehicle features, safety ratings, and performance.
- Handle the entire sales documentation process including booking, financing coordination, and insurance issuance.
- Follow up with prospective leads regularly to improve conversion ratios and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Coordinate with the stockyard and PDI team to ensure timely and error-free vehicle delivery to customers.
- Achieve monthly targets for retail units, genuine accessories, and value-added services (VAS).
- Ensure high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores through proactive post-sales follow-up and relationship management.
- Participate in outdoor marketing activities, corporate displays, and roadshows to generate new leads.
Requirements
- Proven experience of 1-3 years in automotive sales or high-value retail sectors.
- Valid four-wheeler driving license is mandatory for conducting customer test drives.
- Fluency in the local regional language and professional working knowledge of English.
- Strong understanding of the local automotive market landscape and competitor products.
- Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to close sales in a target-driven environment.
- Comfortable working a standard 6-day work week in a showroom environment.
Preferred
- Prior experience working with an authorized OEM dealership network.
- Familiarity with CRM software or specific automotive DMS platforms.
- Existing knowledge of automotive finance and insurance (F&I) processes.
