This role involves leading a high-performing sales team to achieve monthly vehicle volume targets while maintaining superior customer satisfaction standards. The focus is on driving showroom footfalls, optimizing the enquiry-to-delivery pipeline, and ensuring seamless coordination with finance and insurance partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Sales Consultants to achieve individual and dealership-level monthly sales targets.
- Monitor and manage the end-to-end sales process within the Dealer Management System (DMS) and CRM platforms.
- Oversee showroom operations, including vehicle display standards, test drive fleet management, and walk-in distributions.
- Liaise with banking partners and insurance providers to facilitate quick loan approvals and policy issuances for customers.
- Conduct daily morning huddles to review enquiry pipelines, follow-up status, and hot leads.
- Handle escalated customer grievances and ensure a high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) score.
- Analyze local market trends and competitor activities to suggest tactical sales promotions.
- Ensure strict adherence to OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) guidelines and compliance protocols.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in automotive sales, preferably in a premium car or two-wheeler dealership.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales KPIs as a Senior Consultant or Team Lead.
- In-depth knowledge of the local automotive market and customer buying behavior.
- Proficiency in using Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and Microsoft Excel for reporting.
- Valid four-wheeler driving license and a clean driving record.
- Excellent command over the local language and functional English.
Preferred
- Experience working with leading Indian or International automotive brands.
- Certification in automotive sales or customer relationship management.
- Prior experience in managing a small team of 5-8 sales executives.

Qualifications

Certifications: OEM Sales Certification (Optional), IRDA Certification (Preferred)
Work Environment
This is a full-time, on-site role based at the dealership showroom. Standard working hours are 6 days a week, including weekends, with a rotational week-off.
