This role involves driving vehicle sales by providing exceptional product demonstrations and personalized consultation to prospective buyers. It focuses on managing the entire customer journey from initial inquiry to final delivery while maintaining high satisfaction standards within the authorized dealership environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage walk-in customers and digital leads through the Dealership Management System (DMS) to ensure consistent pipeline movement.
- Conduct professional product demonstrations and organized test drives following OEM safety and quality standards.
- Provide detailed explanations of vehicle features, accessories, finance options, and insurance packages to facilitate informed buying decisions.
- Maintain a robust follow-up mechanism via calls and emails to convert prospects into retail sales.
- Coordinate with the stockyard and PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) teams to ensure timely and error-free vehicle delivery.
- Achieve monthly sales targets for vehicles, genuine accessories, and value-added services like extended warranties.
- Collect and verify all necessary KYC documentation for vehicle registration and bank loan processing.
- Participate in outdoor promotional activities, mall displays, and corporate sales camps to generate new leads.
Requirements
- Proven experience in automotive sales or high-value retail environments.
- Valid four-wheeler driving license is mandatory for conducting customer test drives.
- Fluency in the local regional language and functional English for effective communication.
- Strong understanding of the local automotive market and competitor landscape.
- Proficiency in using CRM software or Dealership Management Systems (DMS).
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment with a 6-day work week.
Preferred
- Prior experience working with a major automotive OEM brand.
- In-depth knowledge of retail finance, EMI calculations, and insurance processes.
- Certification in professional sales training or customer relationship management.
