This role involves driving dealership revenue by managing the end-to-end customer purchase journey and ensuring high levels of brand engagement. The focus is on converting leads into sales through expert product demonstrations and personalized consultation while maintaining strict adherence to OEM standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage walk-in enquiries and digital leads through the dealership's CRM/DMS system to ensure timely follow-ups.
- Conduct comprehensive product demonstrations and explain technical specifications, features, and benefits to prospective buyers.
- Organize and facilitate vehicle test drives while ensuring safety protocols and highlighting performance characteristics.
- Guide customers through the financing process, insurance options, and vehicle exchange evaluations to provide a one-stop solution.
- Manage the complete sales documentation process, from initial booking and payment collection to final vehicle delivery.
- Coordinate with the Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) and accessories team to ensure the vehicle is ready as per customer expectations.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for vehicles, accessories, and value-added services like extended warranties.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers to generate referrals and repeat business.
Requirements
- Graduate degree in any stream (B.Com, BBA, B.A., or B.Sc.) from a recognized university.
- Valid permanent four-wheeler driving license is mandatory for conducting test drives.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in retail sales, preferably within the automotive or high-value consumer goods sector.
- Fluency in the local regional language and functional proficiency in English.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Willingness to work 6 days a week including weekends (standard industry practice).
Preferred
- Experience working with an authorized OEM dealership (Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata Motors, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with Dealer Management Systems (DMS) like Autoline or SAP.
- Prior certification in professional sales or customer service excellence.
