This role involves managing the end-to-end customer journey from initial inquiry to final vehicle delivery, ensuring a seamless and premium buying experience. The focus is on achieving monthly sales targets while maintaining high standards of brand representation and consistent customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively generate leads through cold calling, field visits, and digital inquiries to maintain a robust sales pipeline.
- Conduct professional product demonstrations and organized test drives to highlight vehicle features and performance.
- Guide customers through the financing and insurance processes, coordinating with the F&I team for smooth document collection and approvals.
- Maintain accurate and timely records in the Dealer Management System (DMS) for all customer interactions and sales stages.
- Facilitate the vehicle delivery process, ensuring all documentation is complete and the customer is fully briefed on vehicle operations.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales volume and accessory targets as defined by the dealership management.
- Follow up with existing customers for referrals and repeat business to build a loyal client base within the local territory.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of proven experience in automotive sales at an authorized dealership.
- Must possess a valid permanent four-wheeler driving license.
- Strong proficiency in the local regional language and functional English.
- In-depth knowledge of the local automotive market and current competitor product offerings.
- Ability to work on-site 6 days a week, including weekends and public holidays as per dealership norms.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills with a track record of meeting targets.
Preferred
- Experience working with high-volume or premium OEM brands.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and Dealer Management Systems (DMS) like Autoline or MSite.
- Previous formal training in consultative selling or customer relationship management.
