This role focuses on driving high-value automotive sales through proactive lead management and exceptional customer relationship building. The selected candidate will represent a market-leading brand, ensuring a premium showroom experience while meeting monthly retail objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete sales lifecycle from initial inquiry and lead generation to vehicle delivery and post-sales documentation.
- Conduct professional vehicle demonstrations and test drives to highlight key features and performance metrics to prospective buyers.
- Maintain and update the Dealer Management System (DMS) daily with accurate lead status, follow-up notes, and customer interactions.
- Coordinate with the Finance and Insurance (F&I) department to provide customers with seamless loan processing and policy options.
- Achieve monthly sales targets for new vehicles, accessories, and value-added services like extended warranties.
- Conduct regular market research on competitor products and pricing to effectively handle customer objections and comparisons.
- Facilitate the vehicle exchange process by coordinating with the pre-owned car evaluation team for fair trade-in values.
- Ensure 100% compliance with OEM standards regarding showroom hygiene, professional attire, and customer engagement protocols.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in automotive sales or high-end retail sectors.
- Valid four-wheeler driving license is mandatory for conducting test drives.
- Strong proficiency in the local language and English to effectively communicate with diverse clientele.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a target-driven environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognized Indian university.
- High degree of personal grooming and professional etiquette suitable for a corporate showroom environment.
Preferred
- Prior experience working with authorized OEM dealerships (Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata Motors, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with CRM software such as SAP, VinLead, or Autoline.
- Certification in consultative selling or professional negotiation skills.
